From design to build to finish, this project remains one of Kent Carpentry's defining projects. To say that this house underwent a transformation would be an understatement... in fact, the changes were so extensive that the city considered it a new build! No detail was ignored, and the results are both beautiful and functional.

Kent Carpentry transformed this 1960's ranch bungalow into a cape cod style dream. The size of the home was doubled by adding a covered front porch addition, living space addition with full basement, and rear covered deck. The detached garage was also extended and upgraded. Both are finished in vertical channel wood siding and shakes, and accented with white trim. The curb appeal is strong!

The team started from scratch on the interior, removing the interior walls and old plaster to create a new bright and open floor plan. The addition features a living room and master bedroom with stunning tray ceilings, and allows space for a separate dining room and dreamy country kitchen. This home got all new everything: electrical, plumbing, ductwork, windows and doors, roof... the list goes on. The kitchen was designed and built by us and it is nothing less than a home cook's dream. This main floor features custom closets, accent walls, a front entrance bench area, and custom fireplace in the master bedroom. Literally, no detail was overlooked in this stunning space.

It doesn't stop there! This once damp and dark unfinished basement is unrecognizable. In addition to solving the water issues, and extending the basement to almost double its original size, we designed and finished this gorgeous space. The wine cellar, bar, and rec room are perfect for entertaining while the custom laundry room and walnut office provide tons of extra storage. Also featuring a spacious bedroom and 3-piece bath as well as a sauna and playroom/gym space (not pictured).
